About the Artist

Although I was born in Minnesota I spent my childhood traveling throughout the United States with my family. I inherited an appreciation of nature's beauty from my mother, a respected porcelain artist.  After a successful career in various sales and marketing positions, I decided it was time for my creativity to become more personal.

After years of infatuation with interesting pieces of jewelry I decided to try my hand at creating some personal pieces. I took some jewelry design and metal working classes which opened a new world for me. I found satisfaction by letting nature flow through my art. When friends, acquaintances and sometimes total strangers began commenting on my jewelry, I opened WoodStone Jewelry as a way to offer my designs to others.

I am passionate about integrating natural elements in each personal design created. I hope you'll find my jewelry as distinctive and beautiful as mother nature intended it.
